Tim Williams is a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded numerous companies across the IoT and AdTech industries.
He was the Co Founder and CEO of NanoThings, an IoT startup that invented the smart label for location tracking and temperature monitoring. NanoThings was acquired in Q3, 2024. Tim is also the Co Founder of IoT startup, Nell, a SaaS platform aimed at making IoT device onboarding simpler and easier to scale. Prior to NanoThings and Nell, Tim was the Co Founder of a startup named Acquisition Labs, one of the first advertising platforms built on top of Meta (Facebook). Acquisition Labs was acquired within two years of inception. In his most recent role, he led the development of new connected label products for OnAsset Intelligence.
Prior to focusing on IoT, Tim was the Director of Business Development for Rakuten Loyalty, the U.S. arm of Japanese tech giant Rakuten, where he grew revenue by 70% each year. Tim holds a Bachelor's in Business Management from Skidmore College.
