Darrell Turner brings over 35 years of experience spanning academia, training and simulation, and healthcare. His career includes executive leadership roles and deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) principles, with positions at companies such as EverHealth, CollaborateMD, and Lockheed Martin.
Before joining LocatorX, Turner served as President of the EMR-PM Group at EverHealth, where he led strategic planning and organizational alignment across solution groups focused on Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Practice Management Systems (PMS), Clearinghouse Solutions, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and Chronic Care Management (CCM).
Previously, Turner was President and COO of CollaborateMD, Inc., where he partnered with the founder to develop a cloud-based practice management and medical billing solution. Their work simplified complex front-office workflows and streamlined back-office billing processes. The platform’s robust analytics empowered healthcare providers to optimize operations and focus on delivering quality patient care.
Turner also spent more than two decades at Lockheed Martin in its Training & Simulation division. There, he became a Lean Six Sigma Certified Black Belt and held various engineering leadership roles, overseeing P&L responsibilities, project management, startup and assist efforts, and the full program/engineering lifecycle.
In academia, Turner has taught computer science courses at the University of Central Florida, the University of Denver, and the University of Colorado. He combines extensive experience in strategic design and management with a strong ability to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to execute business strategies that drive growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. His work has consistently delivered value to customers, employees, shareholders, and the broader community.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in scientific applications, and a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on computer graphics, gaming, and simulation—both from the University of Central Florida.
